The college NSS Unit in association with Castrol India Ltd. Celebrated International Women’s Day on 7th March 2022 in the college campus. Women’s Day is a symbolic reminder of the historic journey women have taken globally to better their lives. The theme for International Women’s Day, 2022 (IWD 2022) is ‘Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow’. Castrol Ltd. and College NSS Unit tried to uphold the theme for Women’s Day by promoting road safety amongst women. The women driving the vehicles on road must be trained on road safety to ensure road discipline and to follow the necessary traffic rules. The safety riders like helmets, riding gloves etc. were distributed amongst faculty and girls’ students to promote their usage. We, at SACCM pledged to create a world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive, and where “difference is valued and celebrated” on the eve of International Women’s Day, 2022. Total of 20 volunteers and 8 faculty members were part of this celebration. Principal Dr. Vishal Kumar applauded the efforts of NSS Unit and motivated the volunteers to keep up the good work.
