The college NSS Unit, embraced the festive spirit and social purpose by organizing a Diwali fund-raising charity exhibition to support several local NGOs—Ek Prayas, Gyan Jyoti, Ek Jot, and Do Good Foundation on 5th – 6th November 2026. This initiative allowed these NGOs to set up Diwali-themed stalls, showcasing an impressive array of intricately crafted items such as diyas, decorative candles, and other traditional festive products. Each item represented the creativity and dedication of NGO members, designed not only to celebrate the season but also to promote sustainable, eco-friendly practices.
A team of enthusiastic volunteers from the college’s National Service Scheme (NSS) collaborated closely with NGO representatives, assisting them in the stall setup and management. The teamwork between the volunteers and NGO members created a warm and inviting atmosphere, ensuring that each stall was beautifully presented and accessible to visitors.
The Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, actively encouraged students to participate, emphasizing the importance of community service and social inclusivity. In his address, he highlighted how such initiatives allow students to learn valuable life lessons, foster empathy, and understand the importance of supporting underprivileged communities. His words resonated with many, inspiring students to be more conscious of social causes and engage meaningfully.
