Introduction
Rangmanch, the official Theatre Club of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management (Ludhiana), is a powerful platform dedicated to the holistic development of students and the nurturing of expressive skills through performing arts. It inspires students to confidently showcase the harsh realities of society through creative forms such as skit, mimicry, street play, stage play/drama, mime, histrionics, ad-mad show, muhavredar vartalaap, , and other related activities. As rightly said, “There’s theater in life, obviously, and there’s life in theater.” – Charlie Kaufman
Aims and Objectives
- To provide a dynamic platform for students to express themselves through various theatrical forms including skits, street plays, mime, drama, mimicry, ad-mad shows, muhavredar vartalaap, etc.
- To enhance confidence, communication skills, and stage presence among students.
- To sensitize students towards contemporary social issues and encourage them to present meaningful narratives reflecting real-world challenges.
- To promote teamwork, dedication, and creativity through script writing, direction, acting, and stage management.
- To foster critical thinking and awareness by engaging students in performances that highlight pressing societal concerns.
Membership
The membership will be open to all the students who abide by the rules of the College. The alumni of the college can become part of the club as a member/mentor, with the permission of the competent authority.

Student Coordinator
The Student Coordinator will be assigned and shall coordinate the activities of the club. He/She will maintain the records of the club, carry out all correspondence on behalf of the club, and liaise with the college authorities and other stakeholders for the effective functioning of the club.
