Career Guidance and Placement cell, in collaboration with Future Overseas organised a career counselling session for the students of B.com and BBA 6th Semester on the topic “What’s next after Graduation” as a part of the MSR activity. Dr. Divesh Khanna, Director, Future Overseas, along with his team, conducted the session after a formal welcome by the worthy principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar. The event’s goal was to encourage graduate students to prepare for challenges in career design and job prospects. Dr. Vishal kumar discussed the relevance of the tactics and the right mindset to prepare for various kinds of examinations and/or while looking for internships and jobs. Dr. Divesh and his colleagues counseled students on post-graduation employment prospects, higher education alternative options in India and overseas, exams to target, and the rationale for early preparations. The students received suggestions and ideas on what to study and how to prepare for it, which industry to choose, and what employers look for in a Fresher. Dr. Divesh also advised students to look for internship opportunities in industries in which they are interested. In the end, students had a bunch of questions, which the resource person addressed. The session was attended by 107 students. This event was coordinated by the “Indian Gateway” team of the mettle and the CGPC coordinators: Ms. Esha Jain, Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Mr. Kanwaljeet Singh, and Dr. Aashish Garg.
