Sri Aurobindo college of Commerce and Management organized an interactive session on the topic ‘Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning’ under ‘Shape the mind programme’ for the students of B.Com and BBA second, fourth and sixth semester on 2nd April, 2021. The resource person for the session was Dr. Ravinder Singh, Civil Servant (Consulting Technical Architect) with the Cabinet Office- Government Digital Service (GDS), London. Ms. Yashika Shah, student coordinator, introduced the speaker. The resource person started the session by discussing the difference between data science, data analytics and big data. He discussed about the challenges in AI-ML and how to develop a business case in AI. He also discussed about the models and frameworks available in AI-ML and how it can contribute towards the growth of e-commerce sector. The session was followed by a question answer round. Dr. Ajay Sharma, Principal of the college, formally extended the vote of thanks. By the end of the session, student coordinator Mr. Alish Jain expressed gratitude towards the resource person. The session was attended by 350 participants.
