Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management organised a two day long 6th Intra College Model United Nations Conference on April 7th and 9th, 2022. Extensive deliberations and discussions were made on issues like freedom of speech and expression with special emphasis on laws like Sedition, UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, 1967), and NSA (National Security Act. 1980); and Humans are the sole sufferers; Egoistic wars leave behind through two committees namely AIPPM and UNHRC. In this Conference, delegates showcased their debating and analytical skills. Delegates of International Press also exihibited their skills in capturing the moments of the conference. Madhav Goyal bagged the award for best delegate for AIPPM and Sanyam Mehta for UNHRC. Adish dang bagged award of Best Photographer, Gitansh goyal of Best Caricaturist and Rachita shingari of Best Journalist. Dr. Marinal Gupta being the MUN Faculty Coordinator, welcomed the revered Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar during the valedictory session; and commended the members of MUN Society and delegates cum diplomats for making the conference a great success. Considering the level of debate and deliberations in the conference, the Principal of the college expressed that he feels that the society is in safe hands as MUN is an innovative way of looking at global and national issues and finding solutions to them. Dr. Dilraj Kaur, MUN Faculty Coordinator, presented Vote of thanks in the valedictory session. More than 100 students participated in this endeavour. The conference was well coordinated by Dr. Marinal Gupta, Dr. Priya Manchanda and Dr. Dilraj Kaur.
