NSS Unit of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce Management organized “Joy of Giving Week” under the motto “NOT ME BUT YOU” from December 6,2021 to December 9,2021. NSS Volunteers made bounteous contributions and SACCMITES showed generosity truly. Principal (Prof.) Dr. Vishal Kumar and NSS Faculty Coordinator Prof. Jinesh Jain appreciated students for their participation and encouraged them. The whole event was organized under guidance of NSS Head Divam Kalra, Ritesh Jindal and Pratap Jasraj Singh.
Stationery Items were collected in reasonable amounts. There were beautiful and colorful items for needy and under-privileged children. Clothes, Blankets, Wearables were collected to give warmth to needy people. Tiffins, Bottles, Perishable food Items etc. were collected.
These small steps of everyone who contributed made huge donation. These contributions were distributed to Manukhta Di Seva, Hassanpur, Durga Mata Mandir, Village Schools and streets etc.
In Manukhta Di Seva Society, the commendable humanitarian services had been provided. Every volunteer of college got to know about hardships which people are facing in their lives. Some had faced miserable conditions but this society provided them with all facilities – medical treatment, food, shelter and so much more. NSS team put in their efforts to contribute and also interacted with those especially abled there.
Hopefully, this small initiative of NSS Unit enlightened the under-privileged, especially abled, protected needy ones from shivering cold breeze, gave books to educate and enhance their knowledge and much more.
