Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management kicks off its two day (13, 14 September) cultural festival with full fun and frolic. Principal, Prof. Dr. Vishal Kumar, Mr. Kanwaljeet Singh, Dr. Jaspreet Kaur, Dr. Meenu Singla, Ms. Esha Jain, Ms. Veenu Verma, Mr. Sahil Ghai and Mr. Neeraj Bansal declared the festival open by lighting the candelabra and by paying obeisance to the goddess Saraswati. Dr. Vishal Kumar, in his address to the gathering said that the Cultural Fest would make way for the philosophy of integral education of Maharishi Arvind in whose name the college is enshrined. His words of motivation to the participants upped their zeal for the fest. This grand cultural festival was made grander with the esteemed presence of Prof. Satish Kumar, the honourable Vice-Chancellor of CT university, Ferozepur road, Ludhiana. The great personality motivated the students to participate more and more in beyond the class room activities.

 All the students were in a mode and mood of merriment. As many as 17 events marked the show. Students were enthusiastic for they thoroughly enjoyed the day one of cultural carnival. The myriad number of events that took place on day one were: Collage Making, Cartooning, Poster Making, Still Life Drawing, Spot Photography, On the Spot Painting, Mehndi, Embroidery, Crochet, Pakhi Designing, Clay Modelling, Rangoli, Installation, Hand Writing, Quiz, Debate and Elocution. The students presented a gallimaufry of their talents.
