IQAC and Alumni Association of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management organised a motivational session on the “POWER OF DREAM: An inspirational journey of Ms. Jasmine Bajwa”. Ms. Jasmine Bajwa, a successful alumna of the college, is today, a star face in Punjabi film industry. Initially, our esteemed principal, (Prof.) Dr. Vishal Kumar welcomed the eminent speaker with the good luck plant and the award of honour. While expressing his thoughts over the journey of Ms. Jasmine Bajwa he motivated the students to follow their dreams and work passionately to achieve them. Then, the speaker honestly shared about her professional journey and talked about both pros and cons of working in the film industry. She cherished the biggest support system of her life- her father, who encouraged her at every step in her journey. Ms. Jasmine Bajwa stated that the biggest lesson she learnt was patience and guided students to be very persistent in whatever profession they want to join. With the great excitement, students asked questions regarding her inspiration, the struggle, the industry environment and work life balance. Further, she explored the talent amongst students and appreciated them for their skills and confidence. Lastly, all the students motivated her by wishing her a good luck for the coming projects. The event was well co-ordinated by Mr. Sanjay Gupta , Dean Student Welfare and the other members of the Alumni Association.
