Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana organized an industrial visit for the students of BBA 6th semester to Supreme Agro Foods Private Limited, which sells its products under the brand name UTTAM. It is one of the leading dairy product units in North India. A group of 61 students went there along with faculty members Ms. Amarjit Kaur and Dr. Dilraj Kaur. The Director of the organization, S. Jaspreet Singh welcomed the students with great hospitality. He demonstrated and explained all the processes comprehensively and solved the queries of the students, patiently. The technical team explained the conduct of automated operations and computerized controlled machineries in a dairy processing industry. This visit provided an exposure to the students about the practical working environment. The students were amazed to gain knowledge and insights about various processes of a dairy processing unit. They also learnt about several precautions to be taken while managing the operations at a wider scale.  The students found the session and field trip to be very interesting and informative. Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, acknowledged the contribution of field trips and stated that industrial visits give an active learning environment outside the classrooms. He specifically mentioned that such activities lead to the enhancement in the learning and knowledge base of the students.
