The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) & NSS Unit of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana organized a National Webinar on SWAMI VIVEKANANDA : A YOUTH ICON on 12th January, 2022. Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, Principal, SACCM, formally welcomed the speaker Prof. Kulbhushan Chandel, a renowned academician, Professor, H.P. University, Shimla & Ex- Dean Academic Affairs, HPTU Hamirpur. Mr. Sahil Ghai introduced the speaker. The extensive CV of the speaker spoke volumes about his stature in the sphere of education. The eminent speaker and resource person thew light upon the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. He mentioned that the ideals of Swami Vivekananda have been a great source of inspiration for the Indian Youth, and he was a key figure in the introduction of the Indian philosophies to the western world. The session was engaging, engrossing and inviting. The attendees gained a lot from the words of the luminary speaker. Dr. MarinalGupta, Registrar, SACCM and Member-IQAC, presented the Vote of Thanks. At last, Dr. Vishal emphasised on the teachings of the legendary icon and stated that in the 21st century, when the youth of India are facing new problems, pushing boundaries and aspiring for a better future, thoughts of Swami Vivekanand have become more relevant. His ideas can be understood by this fourfold mantra to live a meaningful life – Physical, Social, Intellectual and Spiritual quest.
