The Alumni Association of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana organized an expert talk on “Entrepreneurship and Start-ups: the real way” in the college on May 20, 2022. The expert of the session was Ms. Smriti Bhatia, the Founder of Smriti’s ChocoHouse, Founder and Director – SIABAZ, Chairperson ICF – MENTORx Women, International Author, and a Chocolate trainer. She talked about her journey and experiences as an entrepreneur. She is a chocolate artisan and an entrepreneur with a passion for chocolates and chocolate making. She is an IT professional with 13 years of experience. She started her session by interacting with students. She gave real examples of strategies followed by big ventures. The expert speaker accentuated on starting up business by inculcating qualities of an entrepreneurs and dealing with distinctive approach. She highlighted various marketing strategies and skills required for becoming successful entrepreneur. Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, formally welcomed the speaker with his words of wisdom on the significance of entrepreneurship. He highlighted the relevance of instilling entrepreneurship skills among the today’s youth for achieving the national objective of self-reliance. Another guest for the day was Dr. Munish Jindal , founder & CEO, Hover Robotix, Mentor for Change, Niti Aayog, Government of India. He has been awarded and honoured with the highest civilian honor ‘Karmaveer Chakra’ by United Nations. He dealt session with extreme zeal and enthusiasm. He helped students in knowing about business and financial risks, capital funding requirements, employee management skills and several important aspects associated with business. Harmanbeer Singh Waraich, the proud alumnus of the College hosted the session with great enthusiasm. The session was very captivating for the audience and experts were very humble and patient in replying to all the queries. The discourse was followed by a group photograph. The lecture was coordinated by Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr. Pooja Mehta, Mr. Jinesh Jain and  Ms. Swati Gupta. The session turned out to be remarkable and bewitching.
