The Alumni Association of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana organised a Covid-19 drive- in Vaccination Camp under the theme “Protect yourself and others- Get Vaccinated” on 26.08.2021 in the college campus. Great enthusiasm was seen among the people for vaccination as registration starts before 9 a.m. The camp started at 10 am with around 150 doses of Covishield vaccination. In the camp, there were different counters and help desks provided for the people for vaccination. The college security guards were also deployed to regulate the entry and exit of the people coming for vaccination. Vaccination was given to those above 18 years of age through on-the-spot registration. Numerous students, teachers, and alumni of the college along with nearby residents got themselves vaccinated in the camp. Prof. Sanjay Gupta (Dean Student Welfare), and the other members of the Alumni Committee coordinated the entire vaccination camp. Mr. Jashandeep Singh, President of Alumni association expressed his gratitude towards college authorities for providing the permission to organize the vaccination camp. He added that the drive is aimed at vaccinating as many as possible. In the end, Dr. Marinal Gupta, officiating principal congratulated the Alumni committee for organizing the camp and urged people to get themselves fully vaccinated.
