Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March by organising a lecture on ‘Women Empowerment’. A renowned Psychologist, Dr. Param Saini conducted the session. Dr. Ajay Sharma, Principal of the college formally welcomed the resource person. Dr. Param Saini started the session by discussing about the theme of this year’s International Women’s Day ie Choose to Challenge. She emphasised on the importance of accepting ourselves and challenging ourselves on a daily basis. She mentioned that change comes from within and that self- confidence is the key to bringing about change. She said that it is important that women work hard on themselves and keep on polishing their gifts. She answered the queries posed by the audience.
