Enterprising souls are a rarity and Sh. Sachit Jain (MD, Vardhman Special Steels Ltd.) is one of those. Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana, as a part of continuing interaction with the Industry and Academia, had the privilege of having such an epitome of true leadership, in the college, for an interactive session with the teaching faculty on Leadership and Effective Teaching on 9th April, 2021. The much celebrated scholarly speaker Mr. Jain, started the session in his own charismatic style by giving pragmatic examples while emphasizing the role of vision, communication and belief in impactful leadership. He stressed that teachers have the ability to shape the minds of students that is why they need to have strong vision along with innovative thinking. He also mentioned the importance of case study teaching so as to practically train the students for facing real life situations. At the end of the session, queries of the faculty were taken by Mr Jain. The session presented a holistic, integrated, principle-centered approach for solving personal and professional problems of the students. The Principal of the college, Dr. Ajay Sharma, formally extended vote of the thanks to the speaker.
