Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management organized a National Webinar on ‘ICT Integration for Effective Teaching Learning Process’ on 8th January 2022. Prof (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, Principal, SACCM, formally welcomed the speaker Dr. B.S. Balaji (Associate Professor, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi). Mr. Jinesh Jain, Member IQAC started the session by welcoming the distinguished guest and briefed the participants about the topic. The extensive CV of the speaker spoke volumes about his stature in the sphere of education. The eminent speaker and resource person enlightened the audience with his in-depth knowledge about the indispensable role of ICT in the new circumstances prevailing during the Covid-19 pandemic. He talked about various theories, concepts, practices, and methods to make teaching more effective and engaging for the students. The importance of digital education in the upcoming era and the need for the teachers and students to adapt according to the changing environment were the significant topics of discussion. In addition to this, some of the teacher-centric and student-centric challenges were also addressed by the learned speaker. The session was engaging, engrossing and inviting. The attendees gained a lot from the expertise of the luminary speaker. Prof. Meenu Gupta, coordinator, IQAC, presented the Vote of Thanks. At last, Dr. Vishal emphasised on more and more use of ICT in everyday teaching. He said that technology-based education is transparent and interesting and at the same time more fructifying.
