Parivartan Club (Eco Club) of SACCM in collaboration with Alumni Association observed World Nature Conservation Day on 27th July 2026 with a purposeful plantation drive titled “Eco Harmony.” Inspired by Sri Aurobindo’s vision of integral sustainability, the initiative sought to cultivate in students a deeper environmental consciousness and inspire lasting habits of ecological responsibility. The drive brought together students from across courses in a spirited collective effort, as saplings of indigenous, medicinal and ornamental species were planted across the campus. Each sapling, nurtured with care and commitment, became a symbol of the students’ pledge to safeguard the environment for generations to come. The initiative stood as a testament to the values of active citizenship and environmental stewardship that the institution seeks to instil in its students.

The drive left a lasting impression on all who participated, reaffirming the importance of translating environmental concern into meaningful action. It reinforced a shared sense of responsibility towards nurturing a greener and more sustainable future. Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar commended the students for their enthusiastic participation and encouraged them to carry forward the spirit of conservation in their everyday lives. He remarked that even small, consistent acts of care for the environment can create a ripple of meaningful change and encouraged students to remain proactive custodians of nature. The event was thoughtfully organised and coordinated by Dr. Prerna Ahuja and Ms. Ishika Garcha, whose efforts ensured its resounding success.
