The students of B.Com 4th Semester of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management along with the teacher coordinators Ms. Amarjit Kaur and Mr. Vinay Dawar visited SS Food Industries (Bonn), Ludhiana as an Industrial exposure to sync with Classroom Learning. SS Food Industry is among the top industry leaders in the country. Bonn is a leading household brand offering Breads, Biscuits, Cakes, Rusks and a variety of other bakery items. The students were provided with an overview of the journey of Bonn by S. Sukhpreet Singh, Senior Executive, Marketing Department and Mr. Rakesh Vohra, Executive, HR Department. The production process was exhibited through the plant visit which was well coordinated by S. Meharpreet Singh, Senior Quality Executive. Active participation was observed by the students and queries raised were handled satisfactorily by the experts. The objective of the visit was well attained with a successful attempt to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical orientation. Students expressed their sincere gratitude to the Management and Principal, Dr Vishal Kumar for providing them an opportunity for industrial interactions. Dr. Kumar acknowledged the learning inquisitiveness of the students. Participants delightedly expressed their excitement for their practical learning exposure.
