The Students of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management along with the teacher coordinator Dr Meenu Singla and Dr Jinesh Jain, visted SML Isuzu, Vill Asron, Ropar as an Industrial exposure to sync with Classroom Learning. SML Isuzu Ltd is a trusted and reliable commercial vehicle manufacturer since 1985 with Japanese shareholdings of Sumitomo Corporations and Isuzu Motors. The students were provided with an overview of the production process and parallel processing was exhibited through the plant visit. The industrial regulations were followed well and students were allowed to enter the plant only after taking the safety precautions. The practice of 5S activity for material management was exhibited through the elaboration of ‘Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu and Shitsuke’ aspects.  Active participation was observed by the students to understand the systems followed while dealing with various aspects. The students appreciated the corporate efforts towards environment consciousness by following the pollution norms. The work instructions at each level were clearly exhibited and the team spirit quote- ‘Together Employees Accomplish More’ was impactful. The objective of the visit was well attained with a successful attempt to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical orientation. Students expressed their sincere gratitude to the Management and Principal, Dr Vishal Kumar for providing them an opportunity for industrial interactions. Dr. Kumar acknowledged the learning inquisitiveness of the students and appreciated the industrial visit coordinators for their efforts. Participants delightedly expressed their excitement for their practical learning exposure.
