The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in collaboration with Research & Faculty Development Committee (RFDC) of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhianaorganized atwodays Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Research Methods and Modelling Techniques” on 10th-11thMarch 2023. The resource persons for the workshop wereDr. Naveen Kumar, Assistant Professor, University Institute of Applied Management Sciences, Panjab University, ChandigarhandDr. Rishi Raj Sharma, Professor and Associate Dean, Department of Business Management, Guru Nanak Dev University, RC Gurdaspur. The topics for their presentations were‘Bibliometric Analysis’and “Identification of Hypothetical Framework from Theoretical Constructs and Formulation of Model”, respectively. Both the resource personsprovided insightful information about the emerging research techniques and also provided practical session for hands on experience. The Principal Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar explicitly mentioned about the importance of research in today’s academic and professional world, and he also said that such sessions inspire personal growth and development in individuals and groups.He also applauded the IQAC and RFDC committees for conducting on such an informative and creative research-oriented event. He remarked that such sessions can add to the faculty’s skill set and lead to higher career progression in the form of high-quality papers published in major national or international publications.
