The Young Entrepreneurship Network in collaboration with Technology Business Incubator (TBI) of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management (SACCM), Ludhiana, organized an expert talk on the theme “Nurturing the Start-Ups Eco-system” in college campus on 21st February 2023 for the students of B.Com 4th Semester. Prof. Dr. Vishal Kumar, Principal of the college formally welcomed the speaker of the session Mr. Pargat Barsal, Founder and CEO, Sova Skills Education Pvt. Ltd. The session brought a perfect opportunity for the young audience to understand the significance of entrepreneurial skills required in the process of starting a new venture. He stated that start-ups ecosystem is rooted in innovation, addressing the deficiencies of existing products or creating entirely new categories of goods and services, thereby disrupting entrenched ways of thinking, and doing business for entire industries. He also shared his entrepreneurial journey and quoted various examples on strategies used by young entrepreneurs for market entry and target market identification. Prof. Dr. Vishal Kumar, Principal appreciated the endeavours of YEN and TBI. He also persuaded them to arrange such motivational sessions in the future. The lecture was co-ordinated by Mr.Sanjay Gupta, Dr. Leenu Anand, Dr. Priya Manchanda and Ms. Anchal Arora. The session turned out to be very interactive and informative.
