The college NSS Unit and Women Development Cell in association with Castrol India Ltd. celebrated International Women’s Day on 7th March 2023 in the college campus. Women’s Day is a symbolic reminder of the historic journey women have taken globally to better their lives. The theme for International Women’s Day, 2023 (IWD 2023) is “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”. We, at SACCM pledged to create a world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive, and where “difference is valued and celebrated” on the eve of International Women’s Day, 2023. Poem Recitation and Poster Making Competitions were organised wherein total of 18 students participated. Harleen Saluja, Gursimar Kaur, Aarchi and Saijal were the winners of Poem Recitation and Muskanpreet and Sophia were the winners of Poster Making Competition. A rejuvenation was also planned for the faculty of the college. The Principal Dr. Prof. Vishal Kumar applauded the efforts of participants and congratulated the winners of the aforesaid competitions and also congratulated the female faculty on the eve of Women’s Day.
