  1. SACCM Impacteers organised “Wordink”

Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management (SACCM) hosted an innovative marketing competition organized by SACCM Impacteers on 28th August 2024.The competition was designed to challenge students to select a brand that resonates with a social issue or has the potential for significant social impact. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 11 teams, each consisting of three members. These teams demonstrated their marketing acumen by presenting their chosen brands and their strategies for addressing social issues. The competition was judged by Dr. Robin Kaushal and Dr. Aashish Garg, both esteemed faculty members with extensive experience in marketing and social impact. Their expertise provided valuable insights and constructive feedback to the participants. The competition showcased a range of creative approaches to addressing social issues through marketing. Teams presented diverse strategies, from enhancing brand awareness about environmental sustainability to promoting social justice through impactful campaigns. The first position was bagged by the team ‘Market Innovators’. ‘NEMIKA’ team bagged the second position followed by ‘Team Guts’ at the third position. The marketing competition was a successful event that highlighted the intersection of marketing and social responsibility. It provided a platform for students to apply their marketing skills to real-world issues, fostering a sense of purpose and innovation. Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, Principal, delivered an encouraging address to the students, highlighting the importance of integrating social impact into marketing strategies. His words motivated the participants and emphasized the relevance of their projects in today’s business landscape.

  1. SACCM Impacteers organised ‘War of Campaigns’

The Marketing club of SACCM,’SACCM IMPACTEERS’, organised an intra-college team event titled ‘WAR OF CAMPAIGNS’ on 28 th and 29 th October. The event showcased college students setting up stalls to sell a variety of Diwali-related products handcrafted by Ek Prayaas, Ek Jot Viklang Bachon ka School, Guru Gyan Jyoti Welfare Society and Netrahin Manavta De Sewa Welfare Societies. The first round was conducted in collaboration with NSS. The primary aim of the competition was to promote entrepreneurial skills among students while fostering social responsibility. Eight teams made up of 40 students took part in this activity. By engaging in this event, students not only learned about marketing strategies but also contributed to a noble cause, aligning their efforts with the spirit of Diwali. The team members demonstrated creativity and teamwork in managing their stalls. The following day, on 29 th October, each team presented their marketing strategies and outcomes to a panel of judges. This round was designed to encourage students to reflect critically on their marketing efforts and articulate their experiences. ‘Kindling Hearts’, ‘Seeds of Hope’, ‘Marketing Bulls’ emerged as winners. The event not only helped raise funds for the NGOs but also equipped students with practical marketing and presentation skills. Participants gained valuable insights into the challenges and rewards of real-world marketing, preparing them for future endeavours. Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, Principal, stressed the significance of collaboration between marketing skills and social responsibility. He acknowledged the efforts of the marketing club towards social marketing which is the foundation of the society.

 

  1. SACCM Impacteers organised “Marketing Mashup”

The Marketing Club of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management (SACCM) organised an intra-college team event  MARKETING MASHUP on 5th February 2025 where students showcased their intellectual prowess and marketing acumen. The event provided an exciting opportunity for participants to gain valuable experience in a competitive environment. By engaging in this competition, students not only enhanced their understanding of marketing strategies but also fostered strong team spirit. The competition was structured to evaluate participants on various key attributes such as creativity, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and presentation skills. After a rigorous set of preliminary rounds held on February 4, 2025, 7 teams advanced to the final stage. During the finals, participants had the chance to apply their theoretical marketing knowledge and brand awareness to address real-world challenges, pitching their innovative solutions. Team Rara Aves secured first place, Tech Titans claimed second, and Brand Busters achieved third place. Overall, the competition was a great success. Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, the esteemed Principal, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the winners for their remarkable achievements. He also encouraged all participants to continue striving for excellence, urging them to aim higher and relentlessly pursue their goals with determination and passion, thereby inspiring them to reach greater heights in their future endeavors.

 

  1. Saccm Impacteers organised “Marketing Trivia 2.0”

The Marketing Club of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, SACCM IMPACTEERS organized an intra-college quiz event, MARKETING TRIVIA 2.0, on March 25 and 26, 2025. This exciting and intellectually stimulating event aimed to provide students with a unique platform to showcase their marketing knowledge and skills while also fostering a spirit of healthy competition and teamwork among participants. The event began with the preliminary round on March 25, 2025. Over 40 teams, each consisting of three enthusiastic members, participated in the prelims. After a challenging round of questions and answers, six teams emerged as the top contenders and qualified for the final quiz. The final round of MARKETING TRIVIA 2.0 took place on March 26, 2025. Students from the six qualifying teams went head-to-head in a battle of wits, demonstrating their deep understanding of marketing principles, current trends, and strategic decision-making. The event not only tested their knowledge but also their ability to work effectively under pressure and collaborate with their teammates. Trivia Titans took first place with a great performance, Three Marketeers came second with strong marketing skills, and KPM SACCM finished third, showing great teamwork and knowledge. Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the winning teams. He commended the students for their intellectual brilliance and perseverance throughout the competition. His words served as a motivation for all the participants, inspiring them to reach new heights in both their academic and professional lives. The event fostered a sense of camaraderie among participants and reminded everyone of the power of collaboration, competition, and continuous learning in the dynamic field of marketing.

Activities 2023-2024

    SACCM IMPACTEERS IN INTRA COLLEGE ACTIVITIES

    The Marketing Club of SACCM, ‘SACCM IMPACTEERS,’ organised an intra-college team event titled ‘The War of Campaigns’ – 10th and 11th November, 2023

    The Marketing Club of SACCM, ‘SACCM IMPACTEERS,’ organised an intra-college team event titled ‘The War of Campaigns’ on 10th and 11th November, 2023. The first round was conducted in collaboration with NSS. The primary objective of the event was to actively promote Diwali stalls established by various NGO’s namely, Ek Prayaas, Ek Jot Viklang Bachon ka School, Guru Gyan Jyoti Welfare Society, and Netrahin Manavta De Sewa Welfare Societies. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 30 students, comprising six competing teams, each bringing its unique flair to the promotion of these Diwali stalls. The teams were named Sparkling Marketers, The Concept Crew, Alpha Squad, Entellus, Digiblitz, and Trailblazers. Their efforts were focused on creating awareness and driving footfall towards the Diwali stalls set up by the participating NGOs. The second round involved campaign presentations of the event The Concept Crew, Alpha Squad, and Digiblitz emerged as winners. Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, Principal, SACCM, stressed the significance of the collaboration between marketing skills and social responsibility, emphasizing that this synergy became apparent in the promotion of Diwali stalls. He motivated the students by asserting that this collaboration not only played a crucial role in the success of the event but, more importantly, enhanced the visibility and impact of the participating NGOs. He acknowledged the efforts of the marketing club towards social marketing which is the foundation of the society. The event was well coordinated by Dr. Aashish Garg, Ms. Amarjit Kaur, Ms. Prerna Ahuja, and Ms. Anchal Arora.

     

    Marketing Club of SACCM organized a workshop on the topic ‘Design your digital canvas’- 1st February 2024

    Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management on 1st February 2024 organized a workshop on the topic ‘Design your digital canvas’ for marketing club members.  Mr. Alish Jain, a distinguished graphic designer and SACCM alumnus, led the workshop, bringing his expertise with certifications and a diploma in VFX from Arena Animation. The session encompassed logo, brochures, and poster design, providing participants with hands-on experience and honing their skills in diverse design software. Over 50 students participated in the workshop. Participants gained insights into leveraging graphic design for career growth, exploring freelancing opportunities, and enhancing marketing strategies for Indian brands. The workshop, praised for its clarity and structure, received positive feedback for including specific software options for animated advertisements and design projects. Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, Principal, SACCM emphasized the crucial role of skill-based sessions in providing students with practical knowledge. These sessions go beyond theoretical concepts and incorporate real-world applications, reflecting the college’s steadfast commitment to furnishing a holistic education. The well-coordinated event was orchestrated by the SACCM Impacteers Executive Committee.

    SACCM IMPACTEERS IN INTER COLLEGE COMPETITIONS

    SACCM IMPACTEERS have demonstrated remarkable prowess and excellence at various inter-college competitions, showcasing their outstanding abilities and talents. Their participation has not only brought acclaim to our institution but has also served as a testament to their dedication and hard work. Through their stellar performances, they have left an indelible mark, setting a high standard for others to aspire to.
