 (The Marketing Club of SACCM)

The Marketing Club of SACCM “SACCM IMPACTEERS” is formed for the students to learn, develop, and succeed in the marketing landscape. The vision of this club is to strengthen SACCMites’ marketing intellect and create a culture of “Learning by Doing”. This club will provide a platform for students to discover and enhance their skills, as well as to grasp the actual application and significance of various classroom marketing concepts in the real world.

  AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

  • To enable students to refine and showcase their creativity and innovative skills.
  • To promote “Learning by doing” environment by encourage a hands-approach so that students practically apply their knowledge of concepts and techniques of marketing.
  • To boost students’ creative and inventive mindset in order to generate new core competencies.
  • To provide a platform for the development of fresh ideas for new company initiatives and marketing practices

MEMBERSHIP

The membership will be open to all the students, who abide by the Rules of the College. The alumni of the college can become part of the club as a member / mentor, with the permission of the competent authority.

 TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP

  • A member shall cease to be the member of the Club, if he/she is not on the rolls of the College.
  • If any member contravenes any objectives / rules of the club, the Executive Committee can terminate membership of such member.
  • If any member of the Executive Committee continuously remains absent for three times (without prior written approval of the Student Coordinator and/or Member Secretary) from the meeting of the Executive Committee, he/she would cease to be its member automatically.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE OFFICE BEARERS

STUDENT COORDINATOR

He/she shall call for and preside over the meetings of the Club.

MEMBER SECRETARY

  • He/she will act as ‘Student Coordinator’ in the absence of the ‘Student Coordinator’.
  • He/she will maintain the records of the Club.
  • He/she will prepare and finalize the agenda of the meeting of the Club.
  • He/she will record the proceedings of the meeting of the Club.
  • He/she will be Executive Officer of the Club and shall be responsible for the management and administration of the Club.
  • He/she will do all the correspondence on behalf of the club.

EXECUTIVE MEMBER

  • He/she will arrange for the speakers / resource persons for various sessions meant for the students.
  • He/she will ensure that all the payments are duly made out of the funds collected, on the instructions of the Coordinator of the club.
  • He/she will maintain account of the income / expenditure of the Club.

 PUBLIC RELATION OFFICER (PRO)

  • He/she will arrange for sponsorships from outside.
  • He/she will liaison with the alumni, business leaders, industry participants, media (for invitation and press release) etc.

 

QUORUM

50% members shall constitute the quorum.
