An industrial visit to Shingora Textiles Private Limited, Ludhiana, was organised for the students of B.Com. First Year, Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana, on 12 August 2026, as part of the college’s endeavour to promote experiential and industry-oriented learning. A total of 40 students, accompanied by Prof. Meenu Gupta, visited the manufacturing plant and reported at the premises at approximately 11:15 a.m. The students were warmly welcomed by the staff of Shingora Textiles Private Limited. During the visit, the company representatives provided a structured walkthrough of the manufacturing facility and explained the major stages of the production process. Students gained firsthand exposure to the workflow of manufacturing operations, quality control practices, and the standards followed at different stages. The visit also included an interactive session with Mr. Anuj Jain, Director, Shingora Textiles Private Limited, who shared valuable insights from his professional journey and guided the students on career planning, goal-setting, and developing industry-relevant skills. The interaction provided students with a practical understanding of the expectations and challenges of the business environment. The visit concluded with refreshments graciously provided by the company. Overall, the industrial visit was an informative and enriching learning experience, enabling students to relate their classroom concepts to actual industrial practices and develop a broader understanding of business operations. The Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar appreciated the efforts of the Industry Cell and encouraged students to actively participate in such initiatives, emphasizing that industry-academia engagement provides meaningful exposure to professional practices and helps students develop a better understanding of the corporate and business environment.
