The Industry Cell of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management organized an industrial visit to Ganga Acrowools Ltd., Khanna on 31st August, 2026 for 30 students of BBA 5-A with the objective of providing practical exposure to real-world industrial operations and to complement classroom learning in operations management. The visit began with a Safety Training Session where students were briefed about the safety protocols and rules to be followed inside the plant premises. After that, students were taken for a comprehensive tour of the plant. The tour covered the Fiber Paralysed section, where raw fibers are straightened and made parallel for further processing. This was followed by the Mixing Area, where different fibers are blended as per required specifications, and the Preparatory Section, which prepares the blended material for further stages of production. Students then visited the Dyeing Unit and observed the process of dyeing fibers and yarns in various shades. The visit further included the Warehouse, where systematic storage of raw materials and finished goods was shown, the Packaging section where final packing and labelling of products is done before dispatch; and the Lab where quality testing of products is carried out. At the end of the plant tour, a Corporate Presentation was given by Mr. Brikha Bahadur and Mr. Jatinder Thakur, where students were introduced to the company’s history, product range, plant layout and overall manufacturing workflow. Overall, the visit was highly informative and provided students with valuable practical insights into manufacturing processes, quality control and operations management. Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, Principal, SACCM, emphasized that such industrial visits are essential as they bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical exposure.Your content goes here.
