The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Career Guidance and Placement Cell (CGPC) of SACCM in collaboration with HitBullsEye organized an expert talk on the theme “Industry-Ready Graduates: Transforming Classroom Skills to Workplace Success” for the students of B.Com 3rd Semester on November 8, 2023, with Miss. Manjula Sularia as the resource person. Miss. Manjula Sularia, an award-winning Life Skills Coach and Social Entrepreneur has been acknowledged as the most Active woman entrepreneur of the Chandigarh region. As the CEO of ‘The Transformers Value Creators,’ a nationally renowned Life Skills Training & Knowledge Enterprise, she has touched the lives of over 10 lakh individuals. Her work spans a wide spectrum of skills enhancement, creative intelligence, emotional intelligence, academics, professionalism, empowerment, HR, management, and entrepreneurship. Commencing the session, Miss Manjula Sularia emphasized the growing importance of preparing students for the competitive and dynamic industry landscape. In an ever-evolving world driven by innovation, the talk underscored the need to bridge the gap between classroom education and the practical skills required in the workplace. She stressed the importance of skills enhancement, emotional intelligence, and creative thinking in making graduates industry-ready. Her personal journey and professional contributions were a source of inspiration to the students. The Principal, Prof. (Dr) Vishal Kumar, commended the students for their active participation and expressed his gratitude to Miss. Manjula Sularia for her valuable contributions to the session. He highlighted that job market is continually evolving due to advancements in technology, changes in industry practices, and economic shifts. Therefore, graduates need to adapt to these changes quickly to remain competitive and contribute effectively to their organizations.
