The EduTalk Club of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management organized an open house discussion session on 7.10.2024 on the theme “India’s neutral stance on geo-politics”. Participants shared that India’s neutral stance on geopolitical issues is rooted in its historical policy of non-alignment and strategic autonomy. This approach allows India to maintain a balanced position in international affairs, enabling it to engage with various global powers without overtly aligning itself with any single bloc. During deliberations and discussions, it was expressed that India’s neutrality is also evident in its relationships with diverse nations, including the United States, China, and Russia. By fostering partnerships across different geopolitical spheres, India positions itself as a key player in promoting a multipolar world order, advocating for equitable global governance and regional cooperation.
To encourage the audience to question societal norms and stereotypes that limit individual’s or group’s performance, the EduTalk Club organized a TED-Style talk on the theme “Breaking Stereotypes: Stories That Inspire Change” on 06.02.2025, wherein students made impactful presentations, each showcasing a unique personality that defied common stereotypes. They shared the story of a legend that highlighted his/her distinctive identity, whether it was challenging gender norms, defying expectations based on cultural background, overcoming disabilities, or breaking free from social class assumptions.
An open mic competition provides a platform for participants to showcase their unique talent and creativity in an inclusive environment, whether it’s singing, poetry, storytelling, comedy, or any other form of artistic expression. With the said objective, the EduTalk club planned an open mic competition on 28.03.2025.
