Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and management conducted the Induction -cum- Orientation Programme for the incoming batch of B.Com and BBA on 15th July, 2023. The Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, extended a formal welcome to the students. He discussed the vision of the management to make this institution a centre of excellence. He also motivated the students to have an open mind and learning attitude that will help them to develop technical and soft skills required to grow in life. He also encouraged the students to attend the classes regularly and participate in co-curricular activities that will help them in their holistic development. Thereafter, the session coordinator, Dr. Pooja Mehta apprised the students of SACCM vision and mission, SACCM developmental model, extracurricular activities, different clubs and committees and achievements of students in diverse fields. Various rules and regulations, including examination, attendance, library and leave rules were explained by Dr. Manpreet Kaur. The speakers also motivated the students to participate in the events of the college with full enthusiasm. The proud alumni of the college Mr. Nitin Nanak Grover (Assistant Vice-President, Finance Operations, HSBC Bank Ltd.) and Mr. Sumit Sharma (Founder and CEO, LaunchPad Education) shared their experience at SACCM and apprised the stakeholders of the contribution of SACCM in leading them to the path of success. The session was followed by a question-and-answer round where the coordinators answered the students’ queries. In the end, the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, wished the students good luck for their new journey. The session was well coordinated by Dr. Pooja Mehta, Dr. Manpreet Kaur and Ms. Amarjit Kaur.
