Awards And Honours in Academics

Attractive prizes and awards have been instituted for meritorious performances in the University and College Examinations.

1. UNIVERSITY EXAMINATIONS

a. Prizes for Performance in Aggregates

University Topper Merit Scholarship equal to the College Fee excluding  special facilities fees and University charges  & Memento Rs. 10, 000 (in the form of a silver Memento and Wooden Memento with Copper Frame)
Second in University Merit Scholarship equal to half of the College Fee excluding  special facilities fees and University charges  & Memento Rs.5,000 (in the form of a Silver Memento and Wooden Memento with Copper Frame)
Third in University Merit Scholarship equal to one fourth of the College Fee excluding  special facilities fees and University charges  & Memento Rs.3,000 (in the form of a Silver Memento and Wooden Memento with Copper Frame)
Fourth to Tenth Rank in University Rs.1,000 (in the form of Books & Memento) Rs 1,000 (in the form of a Wooden Memento with Copper Frame)

b. Merit Certificates are distributed to the students who fulfill following criteria:

Student obtaining First position in College in University Examinations in B Com/ BBA Ist/ IInd/ IIIrd/ IVth semester and Third Year* respectively

Students obtaining Distinction i.e. 75% marks or more (aggregate score) in University Examinations in B Com/ BBA Ist/ IInd/ IIIrd/ IVth semester and Third Year respectively.

College Topper prize is given in B Com IIIrd and IVth Semester Honours class.

2. HOUSE EXAMINATIONS

Prizes (in form of books) are awarded to the students getting First, Second and Third Position in aggregate in House Examinations. Subject Wise toppers are awarded Merit Certificates.

3. ATTENDANCE PRIZE

From each class, a student with the highest attendance (minimum 95%) is selected for the award of Best Attendance certificate subject to the condition that he/she must have passed in all subjects’ in House exams/ Mid Semester Tests.
