EXTRA-CURRICULAR
HITESH NAYYAR FIGURES IN GUINESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS:
Student of B.Com III, Hitesh Nayyar’s name entered the prestigious Guiness Book of World Records when he joined a group of 1200 sitarists, who performed together for the first time ever in the world at “Brahm Naad” a Mahasatsang organized by Art of Living society held on 21st November, 2008 at Noida.
P.U. ZONAL YOUTH FESTIVAL :
Darshpreet Singh of B.Com III stood third in the Elocution Contest and Hitesh Nayyar also of B.Com III stood Second in Instrumental Music (Non- Percusssion).
ACHIEVEMENTS AT YOUTH LEADERSHIP CAMPS:
- Gagandeep Kaur from B.Com II won the Prize for Best Camper in Leadership Training Camp organised by the Department of Youth Welfare, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
- Ratul Soni student of B.Com II was selected for The Youth Leadership Training Camp conducted by Directorate of Youth Services, Punjab (Govt. of Punjab) held at Gaura (Solan) from 7th to 16th October, 2008
SPORTS
The cricket team of SACCM played in the Inter- College Cricket Tournament organized by Panjab University, Chandigarh in January 2009. The team reached the Semi Final in the tournament.
