Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management organized an Induction-cum-Orientation Programme for the new entrants of B.Com, BBA, and BCA on 18th July 2026. The event commenced with an edifying address by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, who familiarized the students with institution’s ethos and highlighted SACCM’s vision of academic and professional excellence. Dr. Vishal Kumar observed that SACCM, inspired by the visionary legacy of Padma Bhushan awardee Shri S.P. Oswal and guided by the able leadership of Mr. R.K. Rewari, Secretary, SACCM, has emerged as a distinguished center of excellence. Rooted in the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, the institution is committed to the ideals of Integral Education, promoting academic excellence, holistic development, and value-based learning. Dr. Kumar urged students to be consistent in attending classes and to engage actively in co-curricular and extracurricular activities for their all-round development.
Highlighting the academic achievements of the institution, Dr. Leenu Anand provided a comprehensive overview of SACCM’s vision and mission, its developmental model, underscoring the role of various clubs, committees, industrial visits, cultural events, and key achievements across domains. The students were acquainted with various institutional initiatives, including BPD, NSS, sports, seminars, and workshops. These initiatives aim to foster academic excellence, leadership, social responsibility, teamwork, and holistic personality development, ensuring that learning extends beyond the classroom into meaningful experiential engagement.
Dr. Manpreet Kaur acquainted the students with important academic rules and regulations regarding attendance, examinations, internal assessment, library facilities, leave procedures, discipline, and code of conduct. She briefed students to maintain regular attendance, uphold academic integrity, and make effective use of the facilities available on the campus. Students were encouraged to actively engage in academic and co-curricular pursuits with dedication and a proactive outlook. The orientation concluded with the best wishes to the new entrants, heralding the start of a meaningful and enriching academic journey.
