Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana, successfully organised one of its most splendid, magnificent, and much-awaited Inter-College Fest, Mettle 2026, on 21st February 2026. The fest was conceptualised around the theme “Viksit Bharat” (Innovation, Governance and Growth), aligning with the Government of India’s ambitious vision of transforming the nation into a fully developed, self-reliant, and prosperous country by 2047. The theme inspired participants to reflect upon the role of youth in nation-building through innovation, entrepreneurship, and responsible corporate governance. The fest commenced with a formal inaugural ceremony. Dr. Vishal Kumar, Principal, SACCM, cordially welcomed the Chief Guest of the day, Dr. Prem Kumar, Executive Director, Munjal Birmingham City University Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Esha Jain. Then, the Chief Guest formally declared the fest open and, in his address, encouraged students to channel their creativity and skills towards innovative and productive ventures. He also visited the various stalls set up by participating teams and extended his best wishes to all the participants. Dr. Vishal Kumar, in his motivating address, urged students to actively contribute to the nation’s economic growth through innovative business ideas and entrepreneurial initiatives. He also appreciated and congratulated the entire Mettle Committee for their dedication and efforts in making the event a grand success. The campus resonated with excitement and festivity as students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. A total of 18 teams took part in the fest, showcasing their talents through an array of delicious food stalls, engaging games, creative activities, and innovative concepts. The event also provided a platform for students to demonstrate their managerial, financial, and marketing acumen through inter-college competitions such as the Management Quiz, Logo Designing, Case Study Analysis, and the Ad-Mad Show. The event was meticulously coordinated by Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Mr. Kanwaljeet Singh, Ms. Esha Jain, Ms. Amarjit Kaur, Mr. Vinay Dawar, along with the dedicated student organising committee, whose collective efforts ensured the smooth execution and remarkable success of Mettle 2026.
