The NSS Unit of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management celebrated 150 years of Vande Mataram with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 7th November 2025. To commemorate this historic occasion, a mass singing of Vande Mataram was organized across all classrooms at 9:45 AM.

In each classroom, two NSS volunteers took the lead in conducting the activity. They began by briefing the students about the history, significance, and patriotic essence of Vande Mataram. The volunteers highlighted its pivotal role in India’s freedom struggle, inspiring countless revolutionaries and uniting the nation through its stirring message of love for the motherland.

Following the briefing, all students and faculty members joined together in the collective rendition of Vande Mataram, filling the campus with an atmosphere of national pride and unity.

The Principal Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar appreciated the efforts of the NSS Unit for organizing this meaningful event, which not only paid tribute to one of the most iconic patriotic songs of India but also reminded students of their responsibility towards the nation. The celebration served as a beautiful reminder of India’s cultural heritage and the enduring spirit of patriotism that continues to inspire generations. The event was well coordinated by the NSS team.
