The Department of Computer Science and Applications at SACCM organised a session on “Connecting Classroom to the Future of Work – Technology from the Lens of Industry” for the students of BCA. Dr. Sujit Senapati, Vice President – Digital & IT, Vardhman Textiles Ltd., was the resource person. His vast professional experience and deep understanding of the digital world brought immense value to the event. Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, Principal, SACCM, delivered the inaugural address, highlighting the growing importance of integrating technology into the education system. He emphasized that the future of learning lies in adapting to digital advancements and motivated students to cultivate skills that align with technological evolution. Dr. Sujit Senapati discussed the dynamic relationship between technology and the modern workplace, illustrating how digital tools and automation are transforming industries. He guided students on the essential methods and skills required to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations, encouraging them to adopt a practical, technology-driven approach towards their careers. The session was highly interactive and engaging. Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar appreciated the efforts of the department and motivated the faculty members to continue organizing such insightful and industry-oriented sessions.
