NSS Unit in association with EduTalk Club organized a motivational session on 30-01-2024 for the students of M.Com, B.Com 6th Semester and B.Com 4th Semester. Mr. Anmol Kwatra (Founder NGO- EkZariya) was the resource person. Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar extended the floral welcome to him. He emphasized that the College is well-versed with the philosophy of integral education as purported by Sri Aurobindo and aims in holistic development of students by imparting them social and moral education that nurtures the humanitarian aspect of their personality. Mr. Anmol Kwatra, the resource person, is a self-motivated social activist who aims in making a meaningful impact on community. He began with explaining the importance of life by highlighting the increasing cases of suicides among the youth.He shared that a change in mindset is the need of hour. The youth today is engaged in unproductive and meaningless activity of scrolling social media for hours with a zero learning outcome, imitating the influencers with increasing holdon materialistic possessions and distancing themselves from the true realities of life. He stressed that emotional connect and moral values should be the foundations of a person’s character building. He laid emphasis on engaging in self-talk and introspection to identify personal weaknesses and subsequently overcome them, fostering one’s journey towards self-improvement. He established that intentions and Karma plays a vital role in shaping our life. The audience engaged in an intriguing discussion, seeking his advice on dealing with the problems of life and facing challenges with a mindset grounded in positivity, morality, and ethical principles. The event was coordinated by NSS Unit and EduTalk Club.
