Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana organised a session on the topic ‘Design Thinking’ under ‘Shape the Mind Programme’ on October 12, 2023. The resource person for the session was Dr. Mohit Sharma, Assistant Professor, Head Planning and Operations, Liberal Arts Cluster, Chandigarh University, Mohali. Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, extended a formal welcome to the guest, and in his own unique style wished him the furtherance of such cognitive programmes in multitudinous centre of learning. Dr. Mohit started the session in a rhetorical style. The learned speaker dwelt upon the subject ‘Design Thinking’. He explained the concept with real life examples. In his highly informative session, he explained the various stages involved in design thinking process. Further, he also discussed the idea generation techniques i.e. Six Thinking Hats and SCAMPER. The session was quite inviting and informative. The students stand gained a lot from the expertise of the resource person. The session was well coordinated by Dr. Puja Jain, Mr. Sahil Ghai and Mr. Vinay Dawar.
