Instructions for Students to opt MDSC and SEC Subjects for First Semester under NEP

As per NEP, B Com & BBA semester one student must opt for one subject each under Multidisciplinary course (MDSC) and Skill Enhancement Course (SEC)

1.    A student can opt for a MDSC course subject to following conditions:

a)   The student must not have studied that course in 10+2 level.

b)     The student must not have taken that course as a core subject

2.    A student can choose MDSC from following:

a)   Law (Commercial Law, Business Law, Company Law)

b)   International Business (Fundamentals of International Business, Foreign Trade Policy & Procedures, Foreign Trade Finance & Documentation)

This means if a student opts Law, then for all three semesters he/she has to study Law subjects and vice versa.

A student can opt any one option out of four options available under SEC basket.
