The workshop was conducted for college students on 17 April 2025 in the seminar room of the college. 41 students participated in this reflective, psychoeducational session designed to address the theme of overthinking and promote mental clarity. The session began with an interactive self-assessment questionnaire, enabling students to identify their personal triggers of overthinking across key areas such as academics, relationships, self-image, and decision-making.
The core content of the workshop included scientific insights into cognitive overprocessing and its association with anxiety, fear of failure, perfectionism, and rumination. Through engaging discussions and psychoeducational inputs, students explored the effects of overthinking on their mental health, emotional regulation, and academic productivity. The workshop effectively guided students towards greater awareness and strategies to reduce mental clutter, aligning with its objective of fostering clearer, more focused thinking.
