The NSS Unit of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management organised a visit to Swami Vivekanand Vridh Ashram, the old age home. The motive of the visit revolves around the overall development of students and not just limited to book and conceptual learning. The visit was intentionally planned for the students to make them witness the hardships and challenges of elderly life. Visiting an old age home was an eye-opening experience for the students. It gave them a glimpse in the lives of elderly and all the hurdles faced by them every day.  Spending some time with them made the students realise the importance of valuing our elders and that even a small gesture of kindness can make a great impact on their lives. The volunteers also attended the meditation session. The spiritual gurus explained the importance of spirituality and meditation at young age and motivated the students to meditate every day. Principal Prof. (Dr) Vishal Kumar applauded the efforts of volunteers and urged them to value the elderly people and motivated them to spend valuable time with them and gain from their experiences. Ms. Veenu Verma and Ms. Amritpreet Kaur accompanied the students.
