Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management organised its cultural festival, ‘Manthan’, with much magnificence on August 23, 2025. Principal, Prof. Dr. Vishal Kumar along with team of the Cultural Fest declared the festival open by lighting the candelabra and by paying obeisance to the Mother and Sri Aurobindo. Dr. Leenu Anand, Convener, College Cultural Committee, in her welcome address, spoke on the role of such cultural fests in the holistic development of students. She also urged the students not to suffer from stage fright. Dr. Vishal, in his inaugural address, said that these cultural festivals are much more than celebrations, they play a crucial role in the growth and development of students. He said, the SACCM cultural fest ‘Manthan 2025’ would make way for the philosophy of integral education of Maharishi Arvind in whose name the college is built. A soulful guest performance was made by one of the students of ‘Ek Prayas’, a school for special children. The performance was cheered by one and all. All the students were in a mood and mode of merriment. Students were blithe for they thoroughly enjoyed the cultural carnival. The myriad number of events that took place in the fest was:
Solo Dance, Shabad/Bhajan, Geet/Ghazal, Classical Misic Vocal, Music Instrumental (Indian), Duet Dance, Group Dance, One Act Play, Poem Recitation, Debate, Elocution, Poem Writing, Essay Writing, Short Story Writing, Handwriting, Quiz, Collage Making, Cartooning, Poster Making, Clay Modelling, Naala Making, Paranda Making, Pakhi Design, Crochet Work, Mehndi, Face Painting, Still Life Drawing, On the Spot Painting, Rangoli and Spot Photography. The students were jubilant and zealous for they thoroughly enjoyed the fest. They presented a potpourri of their endowments, and there was joy galore.
