The Parivartan Club (Eco Club of SACCM), in collaboration with Bharat Soka Gakkai (BSG), organised an insightful and awareness-driven exhibition titled “Seeds of Hope and Action (SOHA)” on 12th February at the college campus to sensitise students towards sustainability and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event began with a Pledge for Sustainability taken by students, the Principal, and faculty members, reaffirming their commitment to environmental responsibility. The exhibition, curated by Earth Charter International & Soka Gakkai International (SGI), aimed to inspire young minds to reflect on their role in building a better future and featured 27 informative panels, including two Indian case studies, highlighting key environmental and social issues along with practical solutions aligned with the SDGs. Each panel was presented by trained student volunteers who explained its theme and relevance.

On the day of the exhibition, students across the college actively visited the displays and engaged in meaningful discussions with the panel representatives. The volunteers confidently presented their panels, fostering dialogue on sustainability, environmental responsibility, and collective action. The exhibition received enthusiastic participation and appreciation from students and faculty alike, making it a highly enriching learning experience that promoted awareness and a sense of responsibility towards sustainable living. The institution expressed sincere gratitude to the BSG team, organising committee, faculty coordinators, and student volunteers for their dedicated efforts. The College Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar, appreciated the initiative and commended the students for their creativity and commitment to environmental and social causes, emphasising that such events nurture values of sustainability, empathy, and innovation among future professionals. The event was well co-ordinated by Dr. Prerna Ahuja and Ms. Ishika Garcha.
