Beneath the august canopy of the Industry–Academia Expert Lecture Series, a most distinguished and intellectually exalted Panel Discussion entitled “Retrospect to Prospect: Charting the Future of Entrepreneurship” was solemnly convened on 2nd February 2026, at Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management, Ludhiana, unfolding as a magnificent symposium wherein the seasoned wisdom of industry harmoniously converged with the earnest inquisitiveness of academia. The occasion stood as a luminous beacon, casting its resplendent glow upon the ever-evolving landscape of entrepreneurial endeavour. The assembly was graced by an illustrious triumvirate of industrial eminence—Mr. Adish Oswal, Chairman, Oswal Group; Mr. Ashish Garg, Managing Director, Happy Forgings Ltd. and Mr. Amit Thapar, President, Ganga Acrowools Limited—each a colossus in his respective sphere. Presiding over and moderating this august conclave with consummate poise and sagacity was Dr. Prem Kumar, Executive Director – Education at the Munjal BCU Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, whose erudition and judicial temperament imparted both gravity and grace to the proceedings. The ceremonial commencement of the programme was marked by the eloquent note of Dr. Puja Jain, who, with scholarly finesse, introduced the distinguished panellists and the moderator to the enlightened gathering. In her address, she expounded with admirable clarity upon the philosophical impetus and institutional vision underpinning the discussion, emphasizing the indispensable communion between reflective scholarship and the lived chronicles of industrial enterprise. Thereafter, Sh. R.K. Rewari, Secretary, Governing Body, SACCM, extended a stately and gracious welcome to the esteemed guest speakers. In a rousing and memorable exhortation, he implored the youthful aspirants assembled therein to gird up their loins and prepare with fortitude and resolve for the formidable trials of the future. One by one, the panellists enthralled the audience with evocative narratives of their entrepreneurial odysseys—chronicling moments of adversity, resilience, strategic foresight, and ultimate triumph. Their testimonies, imbued with authenticity and candour, resonated profoundly with the gathering, transforming experience into enlightenment. Assuming comprehensive command of the deliberations, Dr. Prem Kumar deftly steered the session through a series of unconventional and incisive queries. The responses, articulated with penetrating wisdom and razor-sharp acumen, elevated the discourse to rare intellectual heights.
