The monthly meeting of the Book Club of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management was held in September 2025 with enthusiastic participation from students across different classes. The session began with a brief appraisal of the forthcoming activities planned for the semester. Students were informed about upcoming reading challenges, thematic book discussions, and interactive sessions that aim to further strengthen the culture of reading on campus. It was also decided that one common book will be given to all members, for which they will submit a written book review. The best review will be selected and published on the college website, thereby motivating students to engage deeply with the text and refine their critical thinking and writing skills. Several students shared their learning experiences gained through consistent reading practices. They highlighted how regular engagement with diverse books has not only enhanced their vocabulary and comprehension but also broadened their perspective on various social, cultural, and intellectual issues. 6 Members presented the books they had recently completed, giving concise summaries and personal reflections. In addition, students suggested several creative activities peer-to-peer recommendation sessions, and inviting guest authors for interactive talks.
