Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management arranged an industrial visit for the B.Com 3rd- semester students to Neva Garments Limited on 21 November 2025, accompanied by Ms. Monica Sethi and Ms. Veenu Verma. The visit aimed to provide students with hands-on exposure to garment manufacturing and daily operations. A senior Neva Garments representative introduced the company and guided them through key units—from fabric processing to cutting, stitching, assembling, and packaging—explaining each workflow stage and the coordination required across departments. Interacting with the workers helped us understand how the operations function on a daily basis and how coordination, discipline, and skill come together to create high-quality garments.

Highlight of the visit was interaction with Mr. Vaneet Duggal, Marketing Director (the Senior Management Team), where students had the opportunity to ask questions freely. Mr. Duggal responded with genuine sincerity, emphasizing that meaningful relationships open doors to opportunities and form one of the strongest foundations for growth of any business. When asked about the growth journey of Neva, he shared that the company initially became known for its high-quality thermal wear, but over the years it has diversified into a wide range of products like innerwear, children’s activewear and sportswear, loungewear, casual wear, winterwear and seasonal clothing.

He shed light on management’s long-term vision, focus on stringent quality controls, and the seamless coordination among departmental teams. This direct engagement helped students connect classroom concepts with real industrial practices, making the experience truly meaningful. The visit offered valuable industry exposure and reinforced the college’s commitment to provide practical knowledge and experiential learning to its students.
