The Zenith Computer Science (CS) Club of SACCM organised an expert session on the topic “Artificial Intelligence Applications: Bridging the Academic Divide” for the students of the BCA Department on October 30, 2025. The resource person for the session was Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Chawla, an eminent academician from the Department of Computer Science and Applications, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar warmly welcomed the distinguished speaker and presented a sapling as a token of respect and gratitude. Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Chawla delivered an insightful and engaging talk, explaining the concept of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its various real-world applications. She also shared case studies showing how AI supports platforms like McDonald’s, Swiggy Instamart, Uber, and Blinkit, helping students understand how AI improves user experience and operational efficiency. The students participated enthusiastically and showed great interest in the topic. The session was informative and inspiring. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Shikha Verma, followed by the presentation of a memento to resource person in appreciation of her valuable contribution. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar also motivated the students to explore new technologies and apply innovative ideas in their academic journey. The session was coordinated by Mr. Vijay Chhabra, Ms. Amritpreet Kaur, Mr. Rishab Batra, and the Club members, whose efforts made the event a great success.
