EXTRA – CURRICULAR
- Niyati Asthana represented India in the event of Debate at the 7th South Asian Universities Youth Festival held at Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar. The Youth festival spanned from March 11, 2014 to March 15, 2014. She booked the first place at the National level Debate Competition which was held at Kalyani University, West Bengal in the month of February 2013; and she being a national winner, participated in debate from India’ side. This teenager was bestowed upon with the PU Roll of Honour for her rare achievement.
- Taruntej Singh brought pride to the college for he got nominated by the Vice Chancellor of Panjab University, as one of the two student members of the Youth Welfare Committee of Panjab University. Further, he was investitured with PU Colour. Earlier also, he was awarded the title of the best camper of the university.
- Chhavi Jindal of SACCM earned pride for the College. She was adjudged as the best camper by the Panjab University, and further bestowed upon with the Panjab University Colour. Moreover, she was College’s best NSS volunteer, and the College gave her the title of the best Creative Forum Student also.
- Sahil Nayyar stood third in All India Snooker Championship 2014 held at Lucknow (under 21) from 14th Feb uptill 22nd 2014 under the auspices of Billiards and Snooker Federation of India.

INTER COLLEGE EVENTS
YOUTH FESTIVAL ‘PARGAAS-2014’ AT SRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB WORLD SIKH UNIVERSITY, FATEHGARH SAHIB.
On 13th February, 2014, Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management participated in the Youth Festival ‘PARGAAS-2014’ held at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World Sikh University at Fatehgarh Sahib in the events of Essay Writing, Quiz, Chess, Choreography, T- Shirt Painting etc. College team performed on the theme ‘plight of a rape victim’ in Choreography and won the 1st Prize after competing with theater students of Punjabi University, Patiala. SACCMites won the first prize in Chess also.
