The students of B. Com 5th Semester of Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management visited GS AUTO INTERNATIONAL LTD, in GS ESTATE, GT Road, Ludhiana to give practical exposure and insights regarding the actual working environment of production processes of Manufacturing unit. GS AUTO is one of the leading and fastest growing manufacturers of Automotive Suspension and Fastening Components for Indian (International Passenger Cars, Utility Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles (LCVs, MCVs, HCVs), Multi-Axle Vehicles, Trailers and Special Purpose Vehicles.
The Production processes were exhibited through the visit of all three plants in the estate. Students actively participated and observed the production systems. Queries raised were handled satisfactorily by official of Production unit. Production in-charge showed the various components about Jaundeer parts, Cow Boxes, Farm Cutting Tools, CLAAS, Laser Cutting, Plasma Cutting, Moulding, Tool handles, Motor Parts. The owner Mr. RANJOT SINGH gave a warm welcome to the students and showed them that along with industry, societal and environmental responsibility is also very important. He showed students the biodiversity at his site and planted a tree with them to take care of it. Indeed, a great personality he is.
The objective of Visit was well attained with an attempt to impart practical orientation. Students expressed sincere gratitude to the management and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar for providing an opportunity for industrial interactions.
