The SACCM Technology Business Incubator (TBI) hosted “Brand 404 2.0” on August 10, 2024, wherein an engaging platform was provided to the students to demonstrate their creativity and analytical skills in evaluating marketing strategies and presenting restructuring plan. The event was judged by Mr. Prince Vohra, Vice President of the Department of Alumni Affairs and Assistant Professor of Marketing at GLA University, Greater Noida. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar welcomed the eminent speaker and reiterated the crucial role of such events in developing students’ analytical and problem-solving abilities. During the competition, teams critically examined brands such as Subhiksha, BSNL, Apple pippin, Micromax, Blockbuster, Café Coffee Day, Tata Nano, Boeing, and Big Bazaar, highlighting key shortcomings in their marketing approaches. A total of 33 teams registered themselves for the event, of which 10 teams were shortlisted after the preliminary round, which was held on August 6 – 7, 2024. Throughout the presentations, students demonstrated impressive presentation skills, clearly articulating their insights and ideas. Team MARKET MAVERICKS won third place, Team GUTS secured second, and two teams tied for the first prize i.e. THE THREE MARKETEERS and BUSINESS WIZARDS. Moreover, team THE SHADOW AUDITORS also received a consolation award. Judge Mr. Prince Vohra provided valuable insights during the question-and-answer session, offering further depth to the participants’ understanding of marketing strategies. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Vishal Kumar praised the participants for their efforts in enhancing their marketing knowledge and congratulated the winners on their outstanding performance and commended the team efforts of TBI committee- Dr. Marinal Gupta, Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr. Aashish Garg and Mr. Vinay Dawar.
