The Meditation Cell of the college organised a meditation session for the faculty with the aimto provide a guided experience to cultivate mindfulness, reduce stress, and to promote a sense of inner calm and well-being.The session was conducted under the expertise of Ms. Umang Singh, the certified yoga and meditation trainer.She emphasised that meditation is a contemplative practice that encourages mindfulness and self-awareness. It involves training the mind to redirect thoughts and focus on the present moment, leading to a state of mental clarity, relaxation, and heightened concentration.Hence to achieve this end a regular practice is must. She started the session with breathing exercises and guided the faculty regarding the posture of the body while doing meditation and also helped them to control their thoughts by focusing on some specific focal point so that it helps the mind to be quite and reduce mental chatter.Principal, Prof. (Dr) Vishal Kumar, was buoyant over the fact that session would bear holistic and integrated fructifying results.
